ReactIR — End User Licence Agreement
ReactIR and ReactIR Lite - End User Licence Agreement
This agreement is between you and Slightly Technical LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we"), the maker of ReactIR and ReactIR Lite (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the Software.
1. What you get. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software for making music and audio, commercial or not. ReactIR requires a licence key bought from our store; one key may be activated on the number of computers stated at purchase, all used by you. ReactIR Lite is free to use without a key. Both may be installed on as many of your own computers as the activation limit allows, and you may move an activation to another computer through the store.
2. What you may not do. You may not sell, rent, lend, sublicense or share the Software or your licence key; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where law expressly allows; remove or alter any notice in it; or use it to build a competing product by extracting its models, responses or data.
3. Ownership. The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep every right not expressly granted here. "ReactIR", "Slightly Technical" and "Temporal Dynamics" are our trademarks. VST is a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. The Software is built with JUCE and includes third-party components listed in the notices file installed with it, each under its own licence.
4. Your content. Impulse responses, presets and audio you load or create are yours. The Software stores an index of the folders you add on your computer only; we never see it.
5. Activation and privacy. Activating ReactIR sends your host application's name and a hardware identifier to our licensing provider, Lemon Squeezy, to validate your key. Nothing else leaves your computer, and ReactIR Lite makes no network connections. Purchase data is handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Updates. We may provide updates at our discretion. Updates are covered by this agreement unless they come with a new one.
7. Refunds. Refunds follow the store's policy at the time of purchase. A refunded licence key stops working.
8. No warranty. The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it is error-free, fits your purpose, or works with any particular host. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and does not let you waive.
9. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost recordings, lost work or lost income, arising from the Software. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence.
10. Ending the agreement. The agreement ends if you break it. When it ends you must stop using the Software and delete it. Sections 3, 8 and 9 survive.
11. Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction, unless consumer law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
