Privacy Rights

Last updated:  06/24/2026

Slightly Technical LLC ("Slightly Technical," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to respecting the privacy rights of individuals who interact with slightlytechnical.rs and related products and services. This page explains how individuals may exercise rights relating to their personal information and how Slightly Technical LLC handles such requests.

Slightly Technical LLC applies a high standard of privacy protection on a global basis. Where applicable law in a particular jurisdiction grants additional or more specific rights, those rights will be honoured to the extent required by law.

1. How to Exercise Your Rights

Requests concerning personal information may be submitted by email to:

Email: privacy@slightlytechnical.rs

To help process a request efficiently, the request should include:

  • the requester’s full name;
  • the email address associated with the account, order, or communication;
  • the country or state of residence, where relevant;
  • a clear description of the right being exercised or the action requested; and
  • any information that reasonably helps identify the relevant records.

Slightly Technical LLC may request additional information to verify the identity of the requester before processing the request. Identity verification is used solely to protect personal information and to ensure that rights are exercised only by the correct individual or an authorised representative.

2. Rights That May Apply

Depending on the requester’s location and applicable law, the requester may have one or more of the following rights in relation to personal information processed by Slightly Technical LLC.

2.1 Right of Access

The right of access generally allows an individual to request confirmation as to whether personal information is being processed and, where applicable, to obtain access to that personal information together with supplementary information about how it is used.

2.2 Right to Rectification or Correction

An individual may request that inaccurate personal information be corrected or that incomplete personal information be completed, where appropriate.

2.3 Right to Erasure or Deletion

An individual may request deletion of personal information in circumstances permitted by law. This right is not absolute and may be subject to exceptions, including where retention is necessary for contractual performance, legal compliance, fraud prevention, record-keeping, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

2.4 Right to Restrict Processing

In some circumstances, an individual may request that the processing of personal information be restricted, for example where the accuracy of the data is contested or where the legality of the processing is challenged.

2.5 Right to Data Portability

Where provided by applicable law, an individual may request a copy of certain personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and may in some cases request that such information be transmitted to another controller where technically feasible.

2.6 Right to Object

Where processing is based on legitimate interests or comparable legal grounds, an individual may have the right to object to such processing in certain circumstances. An individual may also object to direct marketing activities at any time.

2.7 Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent, including consent for marketing emails or non-essential cookies, consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

2.8 Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making

Where applicable law provides such protection, an individual may have rights concerning decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Slightly Technical LLC does not currently engage in automated decision-making of that kind in the ordinary course of its business operations.

3. Additional Rights for Certain U.S. Residents

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California where applicable law so provides, may have additional privacy rights, which can include the right to know what categories of personal information have been collected, used, disclosed, or shared; the right to request deletion; the right to request correction of inaccurate information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information as defined by law; and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.

Slightly Technical LLC does not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of transferring personal information for money. However, certain analytics or advertising-related practices may be treated as “sharing” under some state privacy laws, and Slightly Technical LLC will honour any legally required opt-out rights where applicable.

4. Marketing and Cookie Choices

Individuals may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the email or by contacting privacy@slightlytechnical.rs. Marketing communications are sent only where the individual has provided the required consent through the relevant sign-up process.

Users may also manage non-essential cookie preferences through the Site’s cookie banner or cookie preference controls. This includes the ability to accept, reject, or later modify consent choices for analytics and marketing technologies where applicable.

5. Response Timing

Slightly Technical LLC aims to respond to valid privacy rights requests without undue delay and, where applicable law prescribes a response period, within that period. In many privacy frameworks, this period is approximately 30 days, although extensions may be permitted where requests are complex or numerous.

Where an extension is necessary, Slightly Technical LLC will notify the requester as required by applicable law.

6. Fees

Slightly Technical LLC does not ordinarily charge a fee for handling privacy rights requests. However, where permitted by applicable law, a reasonable fee may be charged, or a request may be declined, if the request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, or otherwise abusive.

7. Limits and Exceptions

Privacy rights are subject to legal limits and exceptions. For example, Slightly Technical LLC may retain certain information where necessary to complete transactions, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, maintain security, preserve evidence, or exercise or defend legal claims.

If Slightly Technical LLC is unable to comply fully with a request, it will explain the reason to the extent permitted by law.

8. Complaints

If an individual believes that Slightly Technical LLC has handled personal information unlawfully or has not responded appropriately to a rights request, the individual may have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority, privacy regulator, or other competent supervisory body in the individual’s jurisdiction.

Slightly Technical LLC requests, but does not require, that individuals contact the Company first so that the matter may be reviewed and addressed directly where possible.
